The Suicide Squad

The Suicide Squad is an American superhero film based on the DC Comics supervillain team of the same name. The film is a sequel to Suicide Squad (2016), and was directed and written by James Gunn. The film stars an ensemble cast including Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Michael Rooker, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Flula Borg, Joaquín Cosío, Mayling NG, Steve Agee, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Alice Braga, Pete Davidson, Nathan Fillion, Taika Waititi, Idris Elba, Peter Capaldi, John Cena and Sylvester Stallone.

Set two years after the events of Suicide Squad,[3] the film sees the return of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Captain Boomerang (Michael Rooker), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Deadshot (Will Smith) and Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) as they are recruited by government official James Gordon (Idris Elba) to rescue a group of hostages from a remote island prison in the South Pacific. The film also introduces new characters to the team: Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Peacemaker (John Cena), Ratcatcher 2 (Daniela Melchior), King Shark (Steven Agee) and Blackguard (Pete Davidson).

The Suicide Squad was released theatrically in the United States on August 6th 2021 in 2D, 3D and IMAX formats. The film received mixed reviews from critics but was a box office success grossing $1.7 billion worldwide against its $200 million budget.

Godzilla vs. Kong

Godzilla vs. Kong is a movie for fans of the original Godzilla and Kong movies. The movie is a sequel to the 2014 film, Godzilla. The movie was released in theaters on March 31, 2021, and is currently streaming on HBO Max.

The movie stars Alexander Skarsgård as Kong, Millie Bobby Brown as Madison Russell, Rebecca Hall as Penny Russell, and Brian Tyree Henry as Joshua Bunton. The movie was directed by Adam Wingard and was written by Terry Rossio.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is an upcoming American supernatural horror film based on the case of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, which occurred in 1980 and inspired the Conjuring Universe franchise. The film is directed by Michael Chaves from a script by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, and stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ruairi O’Connor, and Sarah Catherine Hook.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 4, 2021, by Warner Bros. Pictures.

The original “Space Jam” movie came out in 1996 and was a game changer in the world of live action/animated hybrid films. Now, 25 years later, “Space Jam: A New Legacy” is coming to HBO Max and looks like it will be just as good, if not better, than the original.

LeBron James stars in the lead role this time around, with Bugs Bunny again by his side. The two team up to take on a new group of aliens who are looking to steal LeBron’s talents. The movie also features an all-star cast of characters from the Looney Tunes universe, including Daffy Duck, Road Runner, Lola Bunny, and more.

Dune

Dune is a 1984 American epic sci-fi film directed by David Lynch and starring Kyle MacLachlan, Virginia Madsen, and Francesca Annis. Based on the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert, the film tells the story of Paul Atreides (MacLachlan), a young man who must travel to the desert planet Arrakis to take control of its valuable natural resource, known as “spice.”

Although it was not a box office success upon its initial release, Dune has since become a cult classic, and is considered one of Lynch’s best films. It was also nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
