1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. Forrest Gump
3. The Dark Knight
4. The Godfather
5. The Silence of the Lambs
Movies that make me laugh
I love movies that make me laugh. My all-time favorite is “The Hangover.” It’s a really funny movie about a group of guys who go to Las Vegas for a friend’s bachelor party, and they end up losing the groom. They have to search all over the city for him, and it’s just hilarious. I also love “Bridesmaids.” It’s a very funny movie about a group of women who are in a wedding together, and they end up having all kinds of crazy adventures.
Movies that make me cry
Below are some of the movies that have made me cry. I have included a short description of each movie along with why it made me cry.
P.S. I Cry At Movies is a fan-favorite podcast hosted bytwo friends who love crying at movies. They watch and review films that make them cry, and then they rate them on the Cryometer (TM).
-The Fault in Our Stars (2014): This film is about two teenagers with cancer who fall in love. It is sad, but also very sweet and romantic. The Fault in Our Stars made me cry because it was such a beautiful story about young love in the face of adversity.
-Up (2009): Up is an animated film about an elderly man who ties balloons to his house and flies to South America to fulfill his lifelong dream of going to Paradise Falls. Along the way, he meets a young boy named Russell, who joins him on his journey. The film is incredibly moving, and I cried at the end when Carl finally reaches Paradise Falls with Russell by his side.
-The Dark Knight Rises (2012): The Dark Knight Rises is the third and final installment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. In this film, Batman must come out of retirement to save Gotham City from Bane, a terrorist leader with a plan to destroy the city. The movie is action-packed and thrilling, but it also has a lot of emotional moments, particularly towards the end when Batman sacrifices himself to save Gotham.
Movies that I watch over and over again
There are a lot of great movies out there. But there are only a handful that I can watch over and over again and never get tired of. Here are my top five:
The Shawshank Redemption: This is a classic story of hope and redemption, set in the bleak world of a maximum-security prison. It’s got great acting, a compelling story, and some of the most quotable lines in movie history.
The Godfather: Another classic, this time about an aging patriarch’s efforts to ensure that his crime family remains relevant and powerful in the modern world. It’s got great drama, exciting action, and some of the most memorable characters in movie history.
The Dark Knight: This is an exciting and dark take on the superhero genre, with a brilliant performance by the late Heath Ledger as the Joker. It’s got an intriguing story, amazing action sequences, and one of the best villain performances ever captured on film.
The Silence of the Lambs: This is a chilling thriller about an FBI trainee who must track down a serial killer with the help of an incarcerated psychopath. It’s got great suspense, amazing acting by both Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins, and one of the most unforgettable endings in movie history.
Pulp Fiction: This is a landmark film from Quentin Tarantino, featuring non-linear storytelling, brilliant dialogue, and some of the most iconic scenes in movie history. It’s funny, it’s shocking, it’sviolent, and it’s completely unforgettable.
