“Avengers: Endgame”
The culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth Avengers movie is remarkable in its ambitious scope, its triumphant fulfillment of longtime promises and its ability to leave audiences both satisfied and mourning what’s been lost along the way. Rated PG-13. Review by Christy Lemire

“Detective Pikachu”
A colorful, clever whodunit that doubles as an origin story for one of pop culture’s most enduring characters, this “Detective Pikachu” is an unholy cross between “CSI: Pokémon,” “Lethal Weapon” and “The next great children’s classic.”Rated PG. Review by Peter Hartlaub

“The Hustle”
There isn’t much originality in “The Hustle,” a gender-swapped remake of 1988’s “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.” But the fun lies in watching Hathaway and Wilson play off each other so deliciously while trying to scam wealthy men out of lots of money.Rated PG-13. Review by Sara Stewart
